Accreditation to the Institute for the Conduct

 NIELIT O/A/B/C Level of Courses

NIELIT, an autonomous scientific society of Ministry of Electronics and IT grant accreditation to the institute for NIELIT O/A/B/C Level of courses. Computer training institutes/organizations in the non-formal sector, meeting well-defined criteria, are granted accreditation for specified levels of NIELIT courses viz. O (Foundation) Level, A (Advanced Diploma) Level, B (MCA) Level and C (M.Tech) Level.

Eligibility Standards for Accreditation of the NIELIT O/A/B/C Level of Courses

Computer training institutes desirous of conducting NIELIT accredited course(s) are obliged to meet the following requirements/standards:

• Infrastructure:

Minimum Carpet Area – 90 square meters

• Software:  As per Annexure II (Attached)
• Operating System,
• Office Automation Software,
• Web browser,
• Antivirus,
• Internet Connectivity,
• Other teaching aids-  Overhead/ Data Projector, TV with DVD Player etc.

• Faculty  and Supporting Staff:

Faculty Staff- minimum 3 competent faculties , Supporting Staff- 1

• Qualification of Faculty

M.E./M.Tech/MCA / M.Sc / BE / B.Tech ((Computer Science) / NIELIT O/A/B/C Qualifier with minimum 1 or 2 year experience

• Documents required:
• Organization Documents-
• Registration Certificate and Byelaws
• Organization Pan Card
• Organization Members ID Proofs

• Authorized Person ID proof with Pan Card,

• Institute Premises Ownership/Lease deed/Rent Agreement,

• Layout Map/Plan duly approved by an architect,

• Faculties Documents;

• Photograph
• 10^th and 12^thCertificate
• Higher qualification Certificate
• ID Proof- Adhaar/Voter card/Driving License, etc
• Experience Certificate

• Fee for Accreditation:

• Security Deposit for each level- Rs 10,000/-
• Provisional Accreditation Fee for O, A & C Levels- Rs 30,000/ + GST
• Provisional Accreditation Fee for B Level- Rs 50,000/ + GST
